Undisputed at Super Feather next year?

Mendez is talking about a unification with Mikey and honestly, whatever Bob offers him, he'll probably take it... he's fighting on FNF, so can't imagine it'd be that much.
Then Uchiyama and Miura might be prepping a unification for next year (I'm assuming since they're co-headlining the main New Years event).

If this were to happen, do you think Bob would shell out the money to bring one of the Japanese Champions over to the States or even to Macau?

That Macau venue might come even more in handy... big venue, get paid and not have the Japanese champions travel too far since between Miura/Uchiyama they've fought outside Japan once (Miura against Thompson in Mexico).

I'd be so happy if they made Garcia-Mendez and Uchiyama-Miura. Two great fights and if the winners could meet and give us an undisputed champ, it would give a legit top 10 P4P fighter.

It would be Uchiyama against Garcia in the final and I'd have to sit and think before I picked a winner. Would love to see it.

        Me too.
Miura still a tough cookie... only guy to knock down Uchiyama... but Uchiyama will break him down again.
Would love to see this in Macau and undisputed status is just what Mikey needs to further his budding carer, or Uchiyama to define his outside of Japan

Also Fortuna should try and fight Vasquez to get that interim belt and see if he could fight Uchiyama if none of this takes place

I used to be really high on Fortuna, but now I don't know if he'll ever be elite. He's very athletic and fast, but his technique leaves a lot to be desired.

He's exciting...but I agree. I thought he won his last fight against Franco. We've yet to see him really step up and see how he handles some of the better boxers in the division

Why can't you guys see that when 2 world class fighters fight they cancel each other out most the time.

Fortuna and Franco are both world class and Franco should have been undefeated going into that fight.

Same thing happened with Gamboa vs Perez. People assume Gamboa has gotten worse somehow and overlook that he's fighting an elite guy?
