Undefeated Polish heavyweight Artur Szpilka (16-0, 12 KOs) has promised to have a coming out party against Bryant Jennings (17-0, 9 KOs) on January 25th at The Theater in Madison Square Garden. Szpilka plans to repeat history, by shocking the experts in a similar fashion to fellow Pole Andrew Golota, who beat up Rid**** Bowe in an HBO televised fight in 1996, which also took place at the same venue in New York. Golota, although, was disqualified in the ninth while leading on all three of the official cards.

The Pin and ByBy stepping it up in competition, time for Wilder to follow suit.

Can't decide who I think takes this one.50/50 IMO.kinda rooting for Artur as he's tough little bastard, who won't stay down.then again would Jennings and his size provide more problems for say the likes of Pulev,Wilder and Wladimir.Szpilka seems a little too short to trouble the big guys.

That aside it should be a good fight, hopefully it happens.

      Wach vs Wilder anyone ?

Let's see how good Wach's chin really is....but doubt it. Wach has the inactivity, but he doesn't have the age

Wach Wilder wont happen, Wilder will be feeded another bums, shots fighter untill Vitali retires and they can screw Arreola out of Stiverne fight, where the Wilder dream will end.

On another hand Wach-Szpilka is happening later this year as they are oppening new venue in theirs hometown(their are from the same area).

Wilder is the biggest farse out there - ranked #3 without figjting anyone? What the hell is going on? Go on youtube and watch him spar with Haye - he can't get out the way of a right hand - reminds me of seth mitchell. Wilder not demanding a step up in comp shows us where his heart is - GBP not stepping up his comp shows us where his skills are . At least Fury / Jennings / Szpilka / Stivern / Arreolla / Mansour and I might be missing a couple of fihhters but the are stepping it up - Wilder is a disgrace and he will get exposed because he has not faced adveraity, different styles, having to put in rounds etc.. and you are ranked 3rd WTF WTF WTF WTF -

Szpilka will never be as good as Golota. Golota was very talented, he earned a Bronze medal in the Olympics, he had more skills than Szpilka will ever have. But he had big mental problems. He was a big disappointment because he could have gone far in the sport if he just stayed had his mind right.

Szpilka will likely get outboxed by Jennings, but it should be a good fight because he has game changing knockout power.

2 guys at the same point in their careers. prospects fighting each other. this should be a good fight but i'm leaning towards Jennings with that 84" reach. szpilka is easy to hit & he takes chances...
