Rigo vs Gamboa @ 122. Who wins?

I think Gamboa's head, upper body movement, and feet are quick enough to evade a few of Rigo's counters, and land some quick combos on Rigo. I also think he rocks Rigo on a few occasions.

Ultimately, I think Rigo would catch him with something fierce and take it from there. I predict he catches him in the 4th or 5th in a BORING type fight, and just schools him from there.

Rigondeaux beat him several times before, he'd beat him again!

Gamboa makes too many mistakes defensively

Lets stop the cold war with Santa Cruz v Rigo

Yuri is my guy, but he's too reckless for a counter punching demon as sharp as Rigo.

I take it you mean a younger Gamboa. Hmm interesting fight, Gamboa would be able to win rounds with his quick combinations even though he wouldn't land many clean shots, but Rigondeaux would eventually catch him and drop him. Would he be able to finish Gamboa? I don't know.

That's a gimme fight for Rigo. Santa Cruz is GOOD, don't get me wrong, but he's OVERRATED.

Rigondeaux, and it wouldn't be close.

The guy that beat Solis, Mtagwa, Salido, Ponce.

I have a hard time seeing anyone just schooling THAT Gamboa, but Rigo is SOOOO surgical.

Dont get all salty. Saying a Rigo v Santa Cruz fight could be made is kinda different than saying Keith "I-havent-fought-a-B-fighter-even-1-time" Thurman should fight the best fighter of this generation.

Rigo would be heavily favored but this would be a very exciting fight because of how Santa Cruz fights. Since the stakes are low this fight could be a crack in the cold war.

I'm not salty, at all. Santa Cruz is a gimme fight for Rigo. You'd be sabotaging Cruz' career by putting him in there with Rigo.
