This isn't to say Broner v Maidana is a foregone conclusion. Adrien is a terrific little fighter but Maidana is one of the toughest guys in the business right now. If Broner comes through here, this is a must have for 2014.

Ok compare marquez and fedchenko then...same **** rite...and another thing about jones and ruiz...the heavyweivht division is an open weight class from 200-???pnds if the division were 7-9 pounds . Apart like the are now, excluding lhvy and cruiser, jones would not have fought ruiz for the heavyweifht title..thats just think thats what it would be if it wasnt an open weight class...

I got a better comparison. Compare the two fights spoken of in the article. AB and Porter are listed at the same height. Look at how much broader Porter's shoulders are. Look how much thicker Porter's chest and legs are. And Porter is merely a solid welterweight and looks at least a division larger than AB, if not more. So IMO to say AB looked like a middleweight against Demarco or was much larger is silly to me.

The obsession with fighter sizes has reached a new high. Maybe its the digital age but fighters have ALWAYS fought bigger men. Its not anything new yet some people like to treat it like every fight has to be against a guy the same exact size. This is not how boxing works. In nearly every matchup there is a smaller man.

Isnt Broner moving up in weight in all these fights? Reading the posts i would think he is coming down from Light Heavyweight to fight guys who are much smaller.

Well porter was a junior middleweight who moved down,so he is a big fighter physically, broner looks big too,but ill agree with you that porter is bigger then broner...ima stick to my guns though demarco is taller but broner is more stocky so bodywise broner is bigger....agree to disagree

I think they're looking at AB's pics from when he was on tour.
