I'm going to bump this thread after Ortiz decapitates Collazo and expose all the doubters who turned into believers after he wins... Ortiz beats Collazo, stops Lopez, beats Maidana, and massacres Broner... And when Rios is ready to leave TR Ortiz makes R. Garcia throw in the towel for Rios... Something he didn't even do for Marg... Don't call it a come back, call it El Regreso!

Maidana makes him quit again... Or breaks the other side of his face. Lopez is winnable I guess, because he's coming off of two ko losses. Ortiz needs the right gameplan for it but he can beat Lopez. Maidana actually has better technique now, he destroys the disrespectful delusional twit

Victor should have "destroyed them for the sake of it" the first time. the funniest **** he said was "their not on my level". Now anything can happen, he can make a huge comeback. its been done before but he doesnt have to talk like an ******

Ortiz with Beristain would be a force to recon with.....it would easely beat Lopez and Maidana, than I would like to see him vs Broner he will beat him too.

Ortiz is right he has more talent than both Maidana and Lopez But he doesn't have the heart of either that's why he lost. He may get a couple more wins but he's going to get exposed again. Talent wise I think hes top notch I just don't think he's mentally built for it and doesn't have the heart. Stick with dancing with the stars or acting.

I believe him, I've always felt that he went in with the wrong strategy against Maidana because nobody knew him at the time and he just had a bad night. Same thing for the Josesito fight, plus it's not like he got his ass handed to him in that fight he just got caught with his mouth open.

He can win a fight with Maidana too if he's willing to go through the fire without breaking down mentally or physically.
Agree with this. I really wanted Ortiz to be the goods. He has the skills and physical tools to be a solid champ, but without question he is missing something upstairs. I don't see him having a successful career from here on out. He's just too spacey. Every time I hear him talk he sounds nuts.
