Comments Thread For: Dana White Doesn't Rule Roy Jones vs. Anderson Silva

UFC President Dana White will not stand in the way of a cross-sport battle between 44-year-old former champion Roy Jones Jr. (56-8, 40KOs) and former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva (33-5 in MMA, 16-1 in the UFC), 38-years-old.

A few months ago, Chris Weidman (10-0) knocked out Silva in the second round, snapping Silva's near seven year undefeated run and 16-0 streak in the UFC. Their rematch is scheduled to take place later this month. Jones also returns later this month in Moscow, Russia. [Click Here To Read More]

I would love to see this fight in a boxing ring

Toney already went into the cage, so you might as well send silva into the squared circle

just using Jrs name, ****** fight we don't even want to see jr box anymore.

anyways I prefer it when the MMA fighter doesn't know that he has a boxer in front of him

Why does this great baldy b*stard keep referencing his boxing past? He was a ****ing boxercise instructor for **** sake. The only way he'd have personally know Roy Jones was if he personally trained his mother.

Dana White needs to stfu and go sit somewhere and enjoy his money...boxing is dead but he sure he's trying to attach his sport to boxing.

It wasn't Roy the people had in mind when they were demanding Jones-Silva.

Silva would lose in a boxing match even though Roy is a shell of his former self.
