Yes, I think you'd have to say he'd be top 10 p4p, or very close, with a clear win over Lacy. Most are going to put Lacy in the top 10 p4p if Lacy wins (some already do), so why wouldn't the reverse apply? Sure Calzaghe's record is a little padded, but there isn't really a glaring SMW name you can claim he didn't fight, is there? Ottke is probably the only one, and nobody in his right mind thinks Ottke would've beaten Joe.
I don't think Calzaghe will win in the end, but he does have a chance, especially if he can get Lacy's respect early (the way Sheika did), because I think Calzaghe could outwork Lacy down the stretch when Sheika could not.
It's going to be a great fight. The SMW division needs this type of fight.
