Kirkland Has An Underrated Chin and Recvery Rate

When are people going to realize the Ishida fight was a fluke?

Kirkland has been in with plenty of punchers and a few really good ones.

Now don't mistake this thread with me thinking he is unbeatable. I don't, but he's going to give anyone trouble who either a) out him down 3-4 times in the first rd, or b) have the stamina/boxing skills to stay away for 12 rds. I don't think that many guys at 154 are capable of that.

His chin seemed to improve, but Tapia is not a hard hitter by any means.

Shawn Porter who weighs a 147 pounds was able to knock down a 180 pound James Kirkland in sparring. and Porter is not a monster puncher

      Neither was Ishida.

If Porter KD Kirk at 180, that was a fat out of shape Kirk. Not the one who showed up on Saturday.

Kirk would mop up your idol.

I dont think anyone has ever underrated this about JK. In fact its kind of what he's known for.

That's cause Kirkland is on the black pills again.

He will get KO'ed again. Well, maybe not. Who's there that Kirkland can fight? GBP has all the 154 lbers.

That's misleading. Porter's fought at higher weights before. Down at 140-147 is where he seems to belong, but he's been a JMW. Apparently he has wins over Edwin Rodriguez, Demetrius Andrade, and Danny Jacobs too.

              How so? One fight?

Pac has been knocked out cold 3 times.

He must have the biggest ***** chin of all time.

He should work on not getting hit so easily. I think he has a solid chin, but he gets hit flush pretty hard almost every fight. It will get worse with time. Hid D needs a ton of work.
