You seem to be really wooed by paper belts and padded records. He's one of 4 welterweight titlists. Floyd is the welterweight champion. Porter just had his first title fight against the weakest champ in the division. He doesn't have a fanbase yet and would sell worse numbers than the pac fight. Nobody is proposing this fight. It won't happen. Nobody is saying floyd is scared of porter, it's in your head.

He fits Floyd's criteria aka he's winning, holds a title, etc... It would be better than Khan but won't make the money that Khan brings to the table.

Either way, Porter and Alexander wouldn't bring in the money Khan will which is why Floyd will probably end up fighting the bum. However Porter is more creditable than Khan at this point.
