    Amir Khan A-Level * Julio Diaz & Shawn Porter B-Level * Devon Alexander C-Level?

Shawn Porter and Julio Diaz are about the same level of fighter, they drew in their first fight and most people thought Diaz won, while in the rematch Porter claimed the W. In many people's eyes they have actually defeated each other and are one a piece.

Now Khan defeated Diaz the first time around, albeit in a close fight, but a fight he won clearly without leaving any room for doubt.

So naturally, we place Khan at the top of the tree there - he's above Porter, Diaz and of course above Alexander.

This means it's logical to define Khan as an A-Level fighter, while at best Porter and Diaz are B-Level fighters and Alexander a C-Level fighter.

Or would you classify Alexander as a B-Level too? I don't know if he deserves it after what B-Level Porter did to him?

Khans a sound technical fighter but he's not an A anything. He can talk boxing very intelligently so I can see him selling a Mayweather fight to the casual fan on All Access. And I'm sure he's got a good story to tell. But I can't see him or any other WW beating Floyd. Maybe Thurman if he had Mayweather in trouble.

Diaz is a pressure fight, Porter is a pressure fighter

Khan tends to struggle with those types of fighters who have no regard for their own safety and come forwards ready to take punches

      Maidana, Garcia, Petterson, Diaz etc..

Khans best fights were against boxers such as Pualie, Zab. this types of opponents are tailor made for his style, guys who try to box

The reason why i believe Khan will pose problems for Floyd, who isn't a pressure fighter and doesn't throw a trillion punches or risk his own safety to get a shot off.

      Styles do indeed make fights

Khan also stood good chance against Devon, he should have taken the fight, Devon clearly struggled with Porters speed.

Nah, Khan clearly out worked and landed more shots than Diaz. Good fight though.

Nah, he won that fight imo. The very best case scenario for Diaz was a draw.

I can't vote in a poll when I disagree with all the options. Khan just barely beat Diaz in his back yard of England and he was knocked down in the 4th round and was helped out by the English referee. Porter beat Diaz in their second fight by a much wider point spread than Khan did. Diaz has 9 losses and has been KOed 5 times. Diaz is rated #44 at welterweight by Boxrec and unranked by everyone else. Khan fought him at a catchweight of 143 while Porter fought him at 147. Diaz is clearly C level but I'll be generous with Khan and give him B- level off his better fights of the past. Porter was ranked #7 going into the fight with Alexander and Alexander was a world champion and now Porter is the champ. They are both solid B fighters and rated above Khan until Khan has a very good win over a very good fighter if he ever does.
