Barrera wasn't in his prime. He was only 29 but had already had two wars with Morales. But beating Morales Barerra and Marquez was still a tall order and impressive to me. 8 world titles is impressive too. Mannys a great fighter.

Definitely holding wins over the Trio of Mexican greats. I've always thought the eight divisions thing is more a sad testimonial to how many useless paper titles and pointless weightclasses there are nowadays.
