Why isnt mayweather that confident in his abilities?

Seriously its baffling, he has the capabilities to beat anyone from 140-154, why doesnt he just fight the best, generate even more millions and go even higher in the atg list. I dont get why hes that concerned?

    Its a win-win situation.

He will make a lot more off an easy fight with khan than he will a tough fight with Lara. Critics will always hate and try to discredit the opponent after, no matter who he fights, so might as well go the easy route for the most money.

That or he's just a rich coward. Depends what side of the debate you take.

If you consistently fight the best, you will lose. Floyd can't afford to lose and he knows it.

To think that even a fighter of Floyd's caliber could go undefeated fighting the top guys from 147-154 is pretty optimistic, and a little delusional.
That's why he fights the Robert Guerrero's, Victor Ortiz, and Amir Khan's of the world, guys he easily outclasses and keeps that 0.

Floyd's in the business of making money. It's not his job to build up guys like Lara. That's Schaefer and Lara's job. Lara had a good win last night. Now it's his job to build off of that. It took Floyd years to build his name up. Why can't other fighters do the same thing he did?

            There is only one reason.

            1. He is a COWARD.

Because guys like Lara haven't been fighting for years as well.

GGG hasn't been fighting for years either? Lucas Matthysse hasn't. Hasn't stop them from getting rather large fan basses. Lara's not far from earning his shot. One or two more really good victories and Floyd will have no choice but to at least entertain the notion of fighting this guy.

People will screen from the Mountain Top for Floyd to face Lara...but if they fight the same people would scream his to green and Lara only had 22 fights...Floyd cherry picked him

you guys complain about Floyds boxing style and then want him to fight a guy that "runs" (as you guys call it), then you wanna call it boring but you want two of the same type fighters to fight each other?
Just another "i hate floyd but i dont want my thread to sound like it" the jig is up dude we get you, Floyd shouldnt negotiate, Floyd should forget the business side of boxing and fight anyone for anything offered so you can feel better about yourself. THIS IS A BUSINESS, AND NEGOTIATIONS ARE PART OF BUSINESS. Wanna see a PPV FLOP like Pacs last one, put Lara on it against Floyd. Just because WE, that follow boxing know who he is, the casual fans that make up probably 98% of the PPV buyers DONT KNOW WHO THE HELL HE IS. Therefore it would flop
