Brook fought Carson Jones twice and that guy does have certain style similarities to Porter so in a way Brook has had good preparation for a similar style - in particular the continuous smothering that both Porter and Jones are capable of. Plus both their punching power is in the 50 - 60% range so they've got roughly the same power. I would go so far as to say that, at this point in his career, Jones is probably around the same level as Porter and he would probably have beaten Alexander himself.

Brook should beat Porter on points, in an occasionally contentious fight. I'll say 116 - 112 Brook.

I just realised who you are, name change threw me off.

Porter will be on brook's ass from the get go, the first few rounds will be interesting. If he takes what Brook has I'd back him to KO Brook in the late rounds.

I like Porter, but he's 5'5'' and wide open when he jumps in. Alexander is **** and had no power to make Porter hesitant, Brook can ****.

I'd have to go for brook, I think he is better skill wise and he'd catch porter when he's lunging in, but it would be a tough fight for brook due to porters pressure. And hopefully Hearn can get the fight in Sheffield so I can go watch it.
