i don't think the pacstans would have gone bat**** wild over doniare, if that's what you're implying. i could be wrong.
most of them appeared to have left for good prior to donaire - rigondeaux. the third marquez fight marked the begginning of the end, imo. once they realized that they had to watch the fight backwards and in slow motion to score it for manny, they realized that the end had arrived.
i think that whole thing was just a flash in the pan stemming from manny being such a beast. donaire is a good fighter, but he was never anybody who could hold a candle to manny pacquiao. he was flat out boring when he wasn't landing huge punches. he'd regularly get booed.
Pac will go down as one of the GREATEST fighters ever. His legacy will be bigger than FMJs. He is a warrior. If people dont agree theydo not know boxing and are a victim of hype.

Poor translation right here. He didn't say Nonito is a poor man. When they asked him about how Nonito asked for the rematch he was like, "poor kid, he is still traumatized from the beating he got." The way its translated in this article is way off in my opinion. Just saying...
Same thought. Happens all the time here. You would think that SOMEBODY at Boxingscene.com knows some Spanish.
Once again Donaire is Rigo's Daddy. Rigo cannot live his life without riding on Donaire's coat tails. He sounds too desperate for money. And HBO is not going to put a rematch of the fight on. Rigo needs to move on with his life.
