I'm traumatized at how boring Rigo is. Cast pride aside Nonito no value in rematching this freaking bore. He runs and potshots. He should've stayed in the olympics.

Nonito has outgrown 122, they should fight in 126 to make it more interesting.

        Rigo beats Nonito in 122.

Rigo was 125 on fight night. While donaire will be in the high 130s. Why people complain about Rigo not moving up is beyond me

I find it funny that Rigondeaux is blamed for that fight being boring, when Donaire came out of the fight with a busted up face. You argue that he should have pressed the action more? Why not demand that of the guy getting tagged?

Rigondeaux is a great boxer, but someone needs to tell him the difference between a beating and a schooling. What he did to Donaire was a schooling. Donaire needed no serious medical attention afterwards. A BEATING is what happened to Angulo and Tapia after they got into the ring with James Kirkland . You're on the recieving end of a one sided beatdown for 5-6 rounds until the ref mercifully stops it, and you're immediately sent to the ER to get your inventory checked!

Donaire was pressing the action and Rigo was countering and running. Try to rewatch it.

In the battle of 2 counter puncher, the one pressing the action is the one that will lose, look at maywether vs marquez and bradley vs marquez.

I don't know why I complain Rigo is boring. Maybe ask the threadstarters of dozens of other boxing forums and boxing writers too.

rigo stood in the pocket a lot against nonito and he did the same against agbeko. but what can you do when the other guy doesnt throw any punches. whenever nonito did try to hit him rigo tagged him. agbeko threw like 2 punches the whole fight and just kept his hands high. you can say rigo is boring but he threw over 800 punches against agbeko.

it's ridiculous that everyone just calls rigo boring and gives his opponents a clean pass. it takes two guys to make a fight and in both fights rigo threw more and landed more than his opponent. what more do you want. nonito and agbeko combined to throw less than 700 punches in 24 rounds. it's hard for rigo to make it an entertaining fight when those guys are clearly scared to even engage him. if all rigo was doing is running then it's simple to cut the ring off by throwing punches. the reality is much different in that any offense by his opponent results in rigo landing a bomb. as a result guys that normally throw 800 punches a fight turtle up and throw 300 or so instead. if these guys arent willing to fight then you can hardly blame rigo. i could understand if rigo threw and landed less but that's not the case so i dunno what there is to complain about.
