This. The only criticism I have with Lara is that he should've tried to finish Trout. I already think he's the best at 154 but him knocking out Trout would've made an unbelievable statement.

Guys, we are not at the roman coliseum. Lara and Trout are humans and probably he felt compassion for his colleague. Last month a Cuban sent a Russian to ICU and is in comma. The only need to beat Trout, not to finish him. If Trout was battling more stronger he can knock out, but was not the case. Lara almost made Angulo to lost an eye, but Angulo was fighting and opponing resistance, not like Trout did

Lara vs. Canelo would be essentially Mayweather vs. Canelo 2 but with a boxer that can actually hurt Canelo in addition to making him look foolish. GBP will definitely be looking at Angulo or Kirkland for canelo's next fight.
