That video shows lateral movement and Rigo getting wacked and not even backing up more than one step you just proved my point and that you dont know the difference between running and lateral movement (if you liked the Garcia fight you should know wtf lateral movement is ) Donaire did the running after he got tagged in the first he got gun shy Rigo Dominated his now traumatized son up til that pathetic coward running act in the 12th round. But you had frikking trout beating Lara the hate is too strong in you facts bounce right off.....I was sad to see you crying ringside at the trout v lara fight tho almost cried myself

Yes, I know the difference between lateral movement and running, but there's a point where "lateral movement"/"footwork" becomes running. Danny didn't just use lateral movement for 10 rounds and potshot. Danny mans upped and fought Matthysse and even dropped him. Rigondeaux got dropped by Nonito as soon as he stopped using that "lateral movement"... I'm not just hating Rigondeaux and Lara because they're Cuban; I'm just not a fan of the amateur style of running and outpointing in the pro's. And people need to stop comparing them to Floyd. Floyd is a FIGHTER.

Explain to me how it's leaps and bounds better than Mexico's boxing system? According to what criteria or statistics? Both have their pros and cons. For instance, where's the inside fighting, combination punching, and body work in the Cuban system? Calling all Mexicans "face first brawlers" is the same as calling all Cubans "boring, pot-shotting runners." It's ignorant.

Anyways, you're Puerto Rican, I don't think you have much to say regarding the current landscape of boxing.

If you're really not hating facts wouldn't bounce off Rigo got kd of a clinch that was amateurish but was he really hurt? Who was the guy who was closest to getting stopped? If all he did was pot shot the dude his face wouldn't have end up like this.

That is the face of a guy who was in with a fighter. Floyd is a 20 year pro the fact that they can even be mentioned in the same sentence as the best p4p guys right now is fking amazing. Style make fights they look scintillating against weak champions and come forward fighters just like everybody else. Rigo tried to get Agbeko out there not just out point him but dude lost his soul like Donaire and turned into clottey.... Lara today was in cruise mode to be real and still got Trout out of there in better fashion than Canelo wtf else can you want.

If he said that, so he is 100% right

Mexican style of boxing is ******, and it is good for Mickey Garcia not to follow it

All the Mexican legends didn't follow this ****** style "except Erik Morales"

It's 'taking 2 punches to land 1'. Taking 1 to land 2 would be a great ratio.

Lol @ the fact that everytime a new latino country is trying to get themselves on the boxing map they feal that they have to attack and hate on Mexican boxing, why is that? Get of our nuts Mexico has BEEN on the map, boxing wouldn't be the same without Mexicans and truth be told that if we had to many Rigo's and laras running around it would probably ruin boxing because of there booring ass style, they got skills but are not entertaining, I think with time they will get the point and make a few adjustments to there style.
