Barker has a long list of injury problems, some of which are serious and it's a shame.

He's a solid fighter, 2nd best British MW behind Murray I reckon, but these injuries have really gotten in the way.

A serious accomplishment to reach to position he has with all those injuries tagging along.

Agreed. It's a shame.

Would have been cool if they could have had an informal middleweight tourney between the four of them over the next 12-15 months as well. Would have created some great buzz about boxing in the UK and Ireland. Ah well.

Definitely a bad break.

I disagree with looking forward to an informal tourney though. With Geale, Martinez and especially GGG around, it would spoil some potentially bigger matches.
