mayweather is not #1 p4p not even close

floyd has retired every time he had to fight a true threat. true? False? A true champion defends against mandatory and does not cherry pick. true? False? Has floyd fought everyone fair and square. yes? No? Whats a true p4p fighter?

All right, thread starter. I'll entertain the thought.

Who do you think should be ranked P4P #1?

Anybody you name can be nit-picked to death.

The fighter Floyd "cherry picks" would be great fights for anyone else in his weight class. That's why he definitely is p4p 1.

Well Floyd doesn't do anything otherworldly, couldn't even fight Canelo at 154. Fighting Ortiz and Guerrero isn't anything to write home about.. BH could fight these level fighters and win at his age.

Quite possible. Canelo was super green and quite limited in what he knew how to do. Way too inexperienced to be put in with Floyd, but I can't really blame Floyd for taking the huge money fight everyone for some reason wanted him to take. BH could certainly school a similarly ill-equipped fighter, though I do think Canelo has talent and certainly a lot of potential.

                  So...

No names above Mayweather in the P4P discussion?

                  What a shock.
