    Johannesburg – South Africa's IBO featherweight champion Simpiwe Vetyeka has sent shockwaves through the boxing industry after stopped Indonesian legend and WBA champion Chris John after six rounds at the Kingsway Indoor Arena in Perth on Friday.

    In the process after a stunning, brawling unification bout, Vetyeka became the first South African in more than a decade to hold the titles of the IBO and the WBA simultaneously and earn a place among boxing's handful of unified champions.

          chris john had hid over in Indonesia for a long time staying away from the best fights .
          he should have been fightin the top contenders instead of fighting easy beats

                  The Marciano curse, getting to 49-0 is not an easy task even when fighting bums.

                  There was one danish HW that almost made it and got injured along the way, can't remember his name at the moment

                      It's not a legit title, this you already know.

                      However, I think Boxingscene has some deal with IBO - they seem to include them in their champions list, has IBO advertisements all over the front, and nonstop coverage of IBO title fights etc.
