Yes, barker only agreed to fight in the Germany if he had a rematch clause in the UK if he lost

    Edit

Barker had dislocated his hip, he already has had 3 ops on his hip, this may be his last fight

Meh. I'd favor Sturm to win the rematch.

This Sturm would destroy Quillin with ease.

Also, sounds like they were more ready to throw in the towel because Barker's hip was messed up.

Stop with the cries of illegal punches. Barker was hurt by legal punches, and as he was wobbled and ducked down, Sturm hit him behind the head a bit but it probably wasn't intentional. He was just following Barker's head.

Rematch? Sturm wins. He's better. And I like Barker a lot.

When has he every stood in front of anyone and tried to force them back? Bizarre.
he's a nice guy but an overrated boxer.

          European level fighter at best.

Barker failed to clinch Sturm Ward/Kilstchko style when hurt, not sure why he was just turtling up his defence instead.

Hit him with an uppercut then, a rabbit punch is a rabbit punch. But in the heat of the moment I can understand.

Yep, noway that belt is leaving his house let alone Germany.
He was on the wrong side of a close decisuon/fight against Geale and lost his belt there.... So how can you say that?

This whole - nobody is beating the Getman fighter in Germany myth is REALLY just a myth. There have been 3-4 times as many robberies and questionable judging/refereeing in the UK and the USA this year then in Germany.

I don't know who he will fight, but if Sturm loses, he will get the loss. Don't worry

He would throw a jab (which he has one of the stiffest in the sport still, IMO) and shell up and eat some punches and shoot another jab and every other minute or so, throw a right hand

His punch output was his downfall in all of those close fights, I said a couple of months ago when this fight was made that if Sturm just opens up a bit more, he would beat Barker. I didn't watch the fight just now, but I'm guessing he decided to let his hands go like he should of Against Geale and Soliman
I agree with this but I have always thought that maybe he was worried about his stamina. When busy Sturm is a high quality fighter, his jab has always been one of the best jabs in the sport.
