Eddie prefers the Groves rematch and im with him 100%, Froch's rep will take a serious hit if he doesn't. I like to think Froch is far better than Chavez Jnr though

I've stuck my neck right on the line over on GBS and said I think this has a very good chance of happening. It sells extremely well and makes good money on both sides of the Atlantic and could be PPV once the marketing men get stuck into it.

Froch wants an American legacy fight but the Ward rematch does not float anyone's boat (except for Carl's who wants revenge) and Froch is not going to get in there with much bigger and younger men like Stevenson or Kovalev. Nor will he rematch Groves.

But Chavez is a good name on the record, beatable and brings a pile of cash. Junior is a made to measure for a 'swansong' fight for Carl and who could begrudge him a nice little earner and a big marquee fight to go out on?

Plus we get to see Junior finally put out to pasture....if Chavez turns up over-the-limit again and hoping to get away with it then Froch will walk and leave Chavez to take the heat/flak. Would be a good lesson for Chavez!

Chavez can't beat Vera convincingly, let's get real.

@ Light Speed..... totally agreed. Vera decision was a mugging.

Froch beats Chavez and Groves would have the style to make Junior look extra ****** and over-protected.

                I agree with this.

Imagine what Groves would do to Jr.
