I actually enjoyed the card last night, it was entertaining. That was due to the matchmaking though, setting up the TMT fighters with bums (except for Medina who was decent). I do agree that the talent level of the stable is just D+ at best. Love is crap... Fought a guy who stepped into the weight class for the first time after a 2 year layoff with 4 losses and still got tagged clean more than he should've.

Hell no people,,,, TMT may not be the best, but its better than DKP right now, thats for sure,,,
TMT has decent fighters, none are really proven at the top level, but all would be considered a good win if someone beat them,,
Mickey bey looks good, but i swear he is the new jorge linareas,, all that talent but will come up short
Badou Jack- Decent guy, i think he could get outclassed when he steps up,, Doesnt seem to have a grasp on ring generalship yet,,
Jleon love- Too much too soon for him,, He should have been brought up more slowly, but in all honesty he will probably cherrypick to a title shot, and get exposed badly when he does step up,,
Pearson- Looked decent for the few moments he fought,,, Jury still out on him, all i can say is keep him active, 2014 he should fight at 6-10 times, dont care if its vs some bums, just keep the kid active, 2015 look to get ranked guysComment

Mayweather Promotions got a guy named Floyd Mayweather so.........they are ranked #1 in terms of money generated.
Floyd alone makes more $$$$.... than Goldenboy/Top rank entire stable.Comment

Mayweather and Curtis Jackson, friends, formed the TMT together, and signed some boxers. The signing was left primarily to Jackson who had the ready money and he actually paid Top Rank $1.25 mill to get Gamboa's release. Mayweather went to gaol, and by the time he got out their friendship had frayed. Jackson said that Mayweather was supposed to have put in $2 mill as his share to start the company, but he couldn't get it out of him. They parted, their company was dissolved, and Jackson was left with boxers signed and a good deal of money invested. So he started his own company with the boxers whom he had signed and called is SMS.
The original TMT Promotions was to have featured Mayweather as their primary attraction, but his desertion, left Jackson "high and dry". I don't expect that he would have gone into boxing promotion, starting alone. But he was stuck, he had to. And he's trying to make a go of it, and may succeed, as he is on good terms with Top Rank.
Someone mentioned Pacquiao promotions as being nothing. They put on regular promotions in the Philippines, which is a good start. I don't know of they ever intended to be anything more than that. Cotto, Alvarez and the others have promotional companies as a means through which to diffuse tax from their fights.Comment

Not great but Not the worst. I think that this is just the beginning though with Mayweather promotions I wouldn't be surprised if after Floyd retires and with the backing of Haymon that they start to become one of the top promotion companies in the sport.Comment
