    UIC Pavilion, Chicago - In a middleweight fight, Jonathan Gonzalez (17-0-1, 14KOs) broke down and stopped Jaison Palomenque (14-8-1, 9KOs) in five rounds. Gonzalez scored a knockdown in the second with a series of punches against the ropes. Near the end of the fourth, Gonzalez scored another knockdown. Gonzalez went back on the attack in the fifth, scoring the third knockdown of the fight and the referee waved things off after starting a count.

        GIACOBBE at his age fought bravely vs a real champ;he tried hard but he is too old now,anyway RESPECT HIM!!!

          Fonfara did what he was supposed to do. I think when he truly steps up though, he will fall short. I just don't think he is a world class fighter. Campillo was a solid win though, I give him that. But the Johnson he fought was a shell.

            Frago needs 2 go back & retire in Italy, he has nothing left but heart...Doubt he made much in a non-televised bout...A 44 doubt he can even draw @ home...
