I also think the WBC would get in the way of that fight - the WBC and IBF belts don't often get unified anymore

As has been said many times, Kovalev - Stevenson is the fight at 175 right now. Having said that, if Stevenson ain't gonna fight Kovalev just yet, BHop - Sevenson is a good fight. Thing is, I actually ain't sure who'd win it. Stevenson has great athleticism and improving technique but I'm not sure there's all that much to his game - he's the kinda fighter that I think Hopkins could figure out and neutralise, if and it's a big if, BHop still has the physical tools for it.

If it's true that it has been offered to HBO it seems like they aren't sure either, mainly though, I guess it's because they don't wanna risk losing that lineal title to the 'enemy'.

I want Kovalev/Stevenson too but if I were 36 and just got made it in the sport that year I'd be after the Hopkins money too no doubt.
