Yeah... we all know you have no intentions to try to work with HBO and top rank. Those "roadblocks" will be there for the foreseeable future.

Hopkins vs. Shumenov in 2014....... guarantee it..

I guarantee this to you all. Hopkins would fight Stevenson, as Stevenson is not anything special. He is a hard puncher masking a one trick pony, Hopkins dealt with that before.

Kovalev though will get avoided by both, and already has. He is a different type of animal and would beat them both up.

Looking past that, Stevenson is the only guy who has a slight chance to beating Kovalev if he can get his left hand landing. Hopkins would not last 6 rounds against Kovalev. He has nothing to deter him and Kovalev's balance and moving attack will simply wear Hopkins out.

Kovalev vs Hopkins will never happen for that reason.

Shaefer is like boxing's Kanye West. Always angry and always blaming something/someone else when things dont go his way. People crap on Arum and rightfully so but this dude is no better.

who cares if Hopkins is the biggest name - Stevenson v Kovalev is the the fight to make at 175 - no doubt. After that, Id love to see the winner take Bhop on. BUT, HBO should press hard for Stevenson v Kovalev

Is this guy daft? Seriously, him and Oscar trashed HBO and jumped ship to espinoza...and now he wants his cake and to eat it too...good luck with that. I'm going to watch closely after Floyd retires to see exactly how GBP plans to use any leverage at all like they have since they got him. Its almost like they burned their bridges without realizing at some point they'd have to come back across it.

He's much worse than Arum, because he complains about EVERYONE not affiliated with Golden Boy. It's getting ridiculous. As a promoter, why would you co-sign the idea of blocking another promoter out to make the biggest fight in boxing? That is very immature and unprofessional. No boxer should every be above the sport and more so, no promoter should help a boxer believe that he is.

Oscar hired one of the most difficult and unlikeable guys in boxing to run his company and it's cost him his relationship with HBO. Why does he need him?
