Wow people actually like John? The guy that has basically only fought mandatories with no hope. The guy who held his belt hostage in Asia. The guy who has never tried to get a Unification Match. John isn't bad but to really try and claim he is the best Featherweight of all time is an insult to Willie Pep, Salvador Sanchez, Armstrong, Hamed, Jeffra, Marquez, Morales, Barrera, Pacquiao and many other Featherweights. And his win against Marquez was not even close to decisive and was closer to being a robbery against Marquez then anything.

Thought John-Marquez was close and could have gone either way, but that was 2006. It's 2013, and John has fought almost nobody of note over the past seven years. Still, some Fanboys call him an all-time-great. Silly. He is a decent boxer who was crowned "super champion" but didn't want to take any risks in an era where there are 4-6 featherweight "champions." Period. His defeat is good for boxing. Hope more paper "super champions" lose soon too.
