As a Pacquiao fan and as someone that Is Impartial, these are not good numbers. This will most likely change with the next PPV.

GGG is merely a titlist that hasn't had one PPV fight, making 300K a fight what on earth does that do for Mayweather? Martinez has actually beat people.

The card was awful. The main event wasn't PPV worthy like i said the moment it was signed. It was all around poor decision making and was a total failure.

That is shocking that it didnt break 500k

475k is still a great ppv number if your talking about jmm-tim, or if it was serg-ggg or a fight on that level, but for manny to not even break 500k means the shine has turned dull

            reasons for
            1. fight was in macua, no local US prescence to hype fight in 'merica
            2. Manny just got ko'd and took year off
            3. rios was not considered to be an A-level opponent

but still,, floyd could fight roman gonzales and it would break 500k

Having said all that,, manny-tim will do 700k-1 mil, and manny-jmm5 would do 1.2-1.5

Floyd-manny would still break all records and do something like 2.5 million

It was a flop because it was a flop. To it's credit for it to move 450k PPV's is nice considering the whole entire card was ass. Where it took place is highly inconsequential since it's not like we were getting it on a time delay. I mean really if you were a casual fan on the couch hanging out eating pizza and playing Madden with friends on a Saturday on the fence about spending money on the PPV who is actually saying at home saying

"AW HELL NAW IT AIN'T AT THE MGM **** DAT NOISE I AIN'T BUYING THIS SHYT".

Unless you happened to be on the Vegas strip the night of the fight(Most people aren't), where the fight actually takes place is extremely unimportant for probably 99% of the people who would actually buy it. What is the most important is actually having a card worth buying, and the card top to bottom was pretty bad.

I'm not incredibly surprised. Take into account that it took place in China, the under card was garbage and the only chance the main event would be close is if Pacquiao was shot, and this is what you get.

Yeah it being in China had no effect. Like I said it wasn't PPV worthy...Broner-Maidanas original card would be a better PPV card than what they gave us, except now its free.
