Froch has decided, no groves rematch

The rematch needs to happen. Atleast Hopkins who knew that Dawson had his number in their first fight, took the rematch.Last edited by TheSlickster; 12-06-2013, 10:47 AM.Comment

Nope. If I had to put money on it, I'd probably say Chavez. Seems like HBO are interested in that fight - and it's a very winnable fight for Froch and one he can look good in.
If not that one, maybe Hopkins. If not him then either GGG or Groves.
Below those 4 is the option of Ward - just can't see it happening next.Comment

Froch totally lost his sheen to most fans who watched the fight. He looked like a beat fighter. Had nothing for Groves up until the exchange where the ref stopped it. He didnt do froch any favors by stopping that too soon like that. Froch would have been been better off getting a shot to stop him legit in stead of winning like that and then being a total *** about it after. He is still tryin to convince people that he really beat groves. At least Provodnikov had the balls to come out and say that after he watched the replay of his fight with bradley, that he also thought bradley won. Fans arent ******. In the post fight interview, Froch sounded like a total douchebag, explaining why he thought the stoppage was good. How about if the ref woulda stopped it after his first knockdown? Exactly. He has nothing for ward at this point.Comment

I think if Dirrell wins tomorrow he might well be Ward's next opponent if he fights in February/March as he said he would.
Froch-Groves gets made imo, Hearn is on Ifilm talking about Wembley for the rematch, this is just Froch making a point that he was the winner and he calls the shots.Comment

I agree. But just because he's smart he will not fight Ward -- because he (Froch) is the one who sells out venues, not Ward... Froch is not that ****** to provide Ward with millions of dollars and also get beat into the process... (I remember that Ward wanted to fight Froch on the Wembley as well...)Comment
