    Nailed it,

Shaefer is a mini arum but a lot worst.. Talk all you want about golovkin, but it will only show that triple g is more of a fun to watch fighter than any of gbp's overpaid boring fighters

Dude is a future draw. Imagine ggg was only paid 400k on his last fight and he delivered ratings.

I wouldnt be surprised if showtime will have lose alot of revenues due to the fact that showtime has those overpaid, boring ass bum fighters with them. Lol

Thank goodness hbo said bye bye to al haymon.

    Shaefer is an *******

That's why HBO likes him, value pick with results.
The MSG show last month cost 800k for all the fighter purses and delivered the third highest rating this year.

        Start stripping fighters of belts!

Major belt organizations should start stripping fighters who don't make fights happen between their champion and the number 2 or 3 ranked fighter in that division. Of course there will have to be some exceptions but not because "he said she said" **** that's in this article. Decisions on which network shows the fight can be decided w a coin toss and just go back & forth after that. Also negotiations could be held in public like on espn2 to see wats really going down and who's making the fight impossible.

Schaefer has no business questioning matchmaking when he is guilty of way worse. Also like others have pointed out Schaefer needs to quit burning bridges and start making better relationships with his rivals. This is getting crazy.

So even when someone says they will fight him they are still scared of him?

This is the second time in two days that I have read of Schaefer talking smack. He's the CEO of GBP, but his behavior is more like a squawking beatch. He's supposed to be making fights, not ruining chances of them ever happening. De La Hoya should have a talk with him about PR.

I know what you're saying, but penalizing fighters alone is not the best answer. Fighters fight, managers, promoters and networks make the fights happen (or NOT happen). Much of the politics we see in boxing is about personality conflicts between opposing management and the perception of what protects their bottom line. The fighters serve as management's cash cows, which they want to milk for as much as they can. They want to strike that perfect balance where they can make exciting, huge money-making fights, while making sure their fighters stay on top. One loss can threaten future giant paydays. In addition, some fighters are worried about their status and don't want to risk too much (are you listening, Floyd?). So the fans end up paying to see boring and one-sided fights, and are often denied the best fights. All of this so-called rivalry between promoters and networks is BS. If they hate each other so much, why not put their best fighters against each other? If the fights are competitive, they could make a fortune on rematches, and the winning side would have bragging rights. Everybody gets paid, and the fans get to see the best fight the best. So what's the answer? In the end, FANS make or break these money-grubbing hos. When a BS PPV fight comes up where we fans know the outcome, BOYCOTT that ****!! That and subsequent demands for the RIGHT fights would send shockwaves through the boxing world!
