  • Comments Thread For: Broner: Maidana Better Be Ready To Fight To The Death

WBA welterweight champion Adrien Broner (27-0, 22KOs) says his performance against Marcos Maidana (34-3, 31KOs) will be far different than his welterweight debut from this past June, when he fought to a twelve round split decision win over Paulie Malignaggi at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The fight with Maidana will take place on December 14th at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Its desperately cringe worthy how broner tries so hard to speak and sound like Floyd. Broner find yourself man, be an individual, you don't have to be someone you're not. More people would probably respect you if you were just you.

If you're gonna mimick someone, why not mimick the best? Kobe is a carbon copy of Jordan. Its only natural. We seem to forget. The same way we had our favorite athletes growing up, so did the guys who were talented and fortunate enough to make it to the highest level. Really never understood why AB mimicking Floyd annoys folks the way it does.

Dude, Kobe gets a ton of hate and ridicule for doing swagger ******* MJ. Not as much now since he's earned his stripes and he's put in work, but the hate was there.

Now Broner on the other hand. It's almost cartoonish the way he's trying to be the next Floyd, but in such an over exaggerated way. It's like he's trying to be one of those garbage parody movies.

It's embarrassing, forced, and blatantly obvious how much he's swagger *******.
