    Emanuel Steward and Amir Khan.

Would Steward have been a good fit for Khan, with his speed and suspect chin? Steward has a history of training fighters with weak chins, such as Wlad and Hearns. He trained Wlad, who also had/has a glass jaw, and he has some of the best defense of any boxer today.

He may have helped, but Khan isn't smart enough to do what Wlad or Hearns or Lennox did under Steward.

Khan needs someone to whip him into shape. He doesn't seem like he gives maximum effort in the gym.

He would be a good trainer for Khan. Roach was a good trainer for Khan and his best wins came with Roach as his trainer. He has looked like garbage with Hunter as his trainer. Steward would do his best to help Khan perfect his attack and protect his weak chin but would Khan listen and learn?

I was hoping that he would go with Steward. It's unfortunate that he died. I think the Garcia fight was the last one he commentated on for HBO.

Steward would have been the perfect trainer for Khan because he would have taught him how to utilize his excellent jab more prominently and consistently. But we'll see what Hunter can do, Khan did react more intelligently when he was knocked down by Diaz who actually has good power
