I think the thing is some guys like boxing but don't understand how it works. Fights are planned sometimes 2-3 years in advance. The networks, fighters, promoters work to build these fights.

I learned this in 03. I ran into floyd at the bhop/odh fight he said long term plan was to fight gatti. I sat next to gatti on the plane ride home. He said same thing. They fought in 05 yet knew they would be fighting more than a year earlier.

This is true. You could see the same way Canelo was build for a Mayweather fight. They put him on several of Floyd's undercards and built the fight up to perfection.

pac/marquez 5 is a dead subject, marquez doesnt want to give manny a rematch and frankly there's no point since pac got ko. the only reason to make this fight is if marquez was to somehow admit he was dirty other than that its a done deal. i rather have pac rematch bradley or fight floyd and thats it.
