Ward is the most complete/technically sound boxer alive; Broner didn't have to mention him & Floyd.

His record is levels and levels above Broner's.

Broner is a Golden Boy hype machine who is only ranked in the Ring top ten because they own it. His record considering his hype is awful. He should have put Paulie away and he looked bored and mostly ineffective.

I would also have Swift above him too. Even if Broner beats Maidana I won't be overly impressed. Alexander won every round against him ugly or not.

The sad thing is, the majority of boxing followers will fall for his tripe and buy his fights just because he talks a lot of poo. He'll do the "oil cherry pick" for the nxt few years and manage to stay current as he can't keep his trap shut. Truth is boxing followers love the hey drama "bla bla bla" and that's all it takes to stay current in boxing today.

still very much to prove and only has two credible names on his record and thats it.
floyd has a massive resume just on facing world champs alone.
there is a host of fighters well ahead of andre ward, FACT.
non boxing people(many here) need to look past the "0" it means very little unless you can sustain it at elite level, andre ward has fought two people at this level and your all labelling him as the best thing since...
hes very good but, far from the top anything yet.
have a look at the other fighters who have "0" loss records with twice as many numbers but havent yet faced elite...does that mean if they have two elite wins they are great too?

Let's not talk about Floyd's record; please. It's worn out and he hasn't faced a legit threat since Cotto who lost a step by then. When's the last time he's been poised to or even cleared a division? Floyd has lost a step & respect; recognize it.

This convo is pertaining to technique which Ward perfectly balances offense and defense. He can brawl, box & counter effectively. Out works you on the inside and makes you pay for staying outside.
