Pacquiao's Contract Expires 2014. Arum Wants Mayweather Money Before It's Too Late

The recent statement about Mayweather vs Khan by Bob Arum is entirely transparent if you put it into the correct perspective. Arum is hugely concerned that Pacquiao's contract is due to expire at the end of 2014 after which Arum won't make a dime from a Mayweather fight. He's trying to get that fight made now so that he can cash in. There really is no need for Arum to be in the equation, that fight will sell amazingly if it was to promoted by a neutered dog. Arum will make a huge amount of money if he's involved in the clash and he's starting to sweat now because the clock is ticking.

So question is.. Should Pacquiao wait until the Top Rank contract expires at the end of 2014 in order to make as much money as possible from the Mayweather fight? It will remove Arum from the picture which is something Mayweather would also prefer since he doesn't want anything to do with Arum, considering their history. And for Manny, of course, he'll retain a much larger purse and make a lot more money without Arum's involvement.

Arum would die before he gives Floyd the majority purse.

Pacquiao's previous contract expired 2 yrs ago.
He promptly sent Koncz to meet with Mayweather at his gym.
Arum had no business meddling on their talks back then.
Singaporean investors were interested. Joe Jackon and friends as well.
Nothing happened. Floyd wasn't interested, despite the truckloads of money
that was offered. Koncz was salivating.
It was an opportunity ignored by Floyd.

          Pac renewed his contract.

Honestly, Mayweather will not fight Pacquiao this fight. Pacman will fight Bradley again, and with the focus now of Bradley with the way he handled Marquez and Provo who is trained by Roach. He has way more confidence then he already had in the first fight. Mayweather will let it all play out after Dec. 14th.

If Maidana KO's Broner, you have an instant PPV fight for Mayweather. If not, you're still pumping up Khan from his Dec. 7th guest color commentator for Paulie for that Judah fight. It gets Khan's name out there and if Showtime Execs are dead-set on Pacman, they can probably make it happen.

I think Mayweather fights Khan and if Broner & Judah win their fights, that will be the next PPV for Mayweather. If Maidana KO's Broner, hello new hyped-fight! Everyone's camps are cautiously awaiting the end of the year results for boxing.

Pac getting outta the TR penitentiary next year?!?...dude might dumb out and re-up though....personally, I don't wanna see him keep starring in the The Rematches....those recycled flicks ain't worth my time...I would like to see him fight the Broners, Thurmans, and Matthysses on the map....see if Pac can tame these young lions....that's what I wanna see!!

Pac get outta the pen and come to the jungle and make the fans happy....Pac vs Floyd can happen but that's not the MAIN reason I would like to see him bounce on TR!!..it's those young lions!!.....Matthysse vs Pac and Thurman vs Pac is not even the best GBP can offer Pacmonster.....but those fights are better than ANY fight TR can offer Pac atm as far as fan friendly appealing fights

FREE PAC should be the Pac fans motto for 2014

I hope he won't renew his contract with Bottom Rank. This fight needs to happen. Pacquiao and Mayweather are still the best boxers in the 147 lbs weight division.
