To me this is the fight I've been waiting for.
We're about to find out what Broner is all about. Maidana is always in a fight, has improved under Garcia and will definitely test Broner's chin.

What ever happens I just hope there are no excuses from either camp.

agree,,he might win this fight,but I really believe that's the reason he's holding back with the trash talking,he knows maidana can punch and get hurt,thats why he's probably quiet as oppose to a featherfisted fighter like paulie who he already knew wouldn't hurt him at all..if maidana can keep the pressure the entire 12 rounds with non stop punches coming at broner (like leo santa cruz does) he has a good chance,we've never seen broner pressured that way

AB is so much better than Maidana that when it was being talked about and formally announced. I saw it as nothing more than a high profiled showcase for the kid. Being seeing the lack of discipline AB has shown in the aftermath of the Malignaggi fight. As a fan of his, I'm not very nervous about this fight and wouldn't be surprised if AB was beaten. And even if he's not, this fight is gonna be a lot tougher than it needs to be and I think he has a rude awakening coming up next weekend.

Where have all these skills been show cased of Broner's? He looked like crap against Paulie and Ponce. Rees? He was popped continually by a short guy with short arms. This will be a serious test. Then bring on Provodnikov. Ruslan would beat him bloody.

I don't think it was for publicity. Maidana isn't into the trash talk broner does. And if you notice broner's been pretty quiet since ,leading up to this fight for whatever reason.
