Man, I don't like this rematch...props to Mares for having the nuts to face his conqueror, but Gonzales ain't no joke. The man has tons of experience and has faced all the top competition.

He is coming in with all the confidence in te world and will look for that one shot again!

Mares knows what he's getting into the ring with this time. He'll find a way to avoid Gonzalez's power and get a UD to regain his title.

That's because most guys here only know Pacquiao and Floyd...anyone who really follows the sport and not just one guy would know that Gonzales is a proven fighter who has faced everybody. He's also bigger than Mares!

I just don't see Mares being able to get his respect. I got a lot of love for Mares, he's still one of my favorites, but he ain't beating this dude.

Mares is to small for this divisio but I still think he wins this rematch, mares has shown us diffrent styles and I think he will come up with the perfect game plan.

Mares has what it takes to outbox him, I just hope he won't be gun shy now...he's a damn good fighter! I hope he learned from that freak KO.

Gonzalez could very well have the kid's number, frankly. You all are treating this too much like it's a fluke. Jhonny isn't a joke. That shot was picture-perfect.

That said, if Abner comes in smarter he could win. He's a really good young fighter and I'm a fan. Takes balls to take this rematch so quickly, but it also could make it an even bigger setback if he loses again.

I think losing would affect a guy like Mares in a positive way. Nothing is certain in this game and he needs to take every fight seriously. Not suggesting he didn't take Gonzalez seriously, but he fought incredibly ****** when he got hurt. Tried to pull a Sergio against Chavez Jr. and got stopped.
