The article you talked about was printed on September 13, 2013. Don't know how they could have included Canelo vs. Mayweather.

Also the averages was 1.17 for Mayweather and 1.06 for Pacquiao.

I don't know where you are getting the FCC access but if they get them and don't post them what's the point?

The PPV numbers that come out are either from HBO/SHO or estimates from a guy like Dave Meltzer. He's also wrong a lot of times too though.

It is what it is...those numbers come from the holy grail themselves..whether they included Alvarez or not makes no difference..the tally is a mere 110k less buys per bout..no big shh. The point remains I don't care about numbers...them shhhh don't matter at all to real fans of the sport. I've seen better fights on FNF this year than on PPV.

I don't believe they are scared but they are indeed protected but I don't blame Floyd either nobody wanted to derrail their career facing Paul Williams...cotto avoided him too so did Mosley. He had to defend that 154lb belt versus a 154lb champion he just made the canelo bout before it became a mandatory which it technically was. More than anything throughout Floyd's career he doesn't like being dictated to..his fallout with Arum wasn't over money it was over being forced to fight Castillo.
