Right. Which is why everybody that has been following boxing since 08 and predict Arum's moves when it comes to Floyd-Pac. And as we speak, the contracts areeither have already been, or bery close to being finished for Pac to fight either Bradley or Provodnikov in Apr.Comment

Funny you disagree but then go and make my point for me...he left arum so he made the fight...why? Because Schaeffer will not do business with another promoter. Lou Dibella has plenty of fighters, so does Duva right...well when was the last time you saw their guys fighting GBP guys? But we've seen them fight top rank fighters,, same as k2, zanfer, and so forth..but again you say it's arum right? Well how come Arum has no problems making fights with other promoters? Explain that to me.....Floyd is under contract if the opponent makes no sense he ain't getting paid period cause it won't be aired so he's not truly picking his opponents as he wants..his money comes guaranteed from other people who need to make money too..and those people are? Haymon and Schaeffer.Comment

The FCC gets a cut of every ppv sale in the U.S. as a nominal fee so they have the numbers...plenty on non-lazy journalists (Grantland) have had access to every ppv event sale # since the 90's because of this open policy with the FCC. Pacquaio averages 1.10 million ppv buys, Floyd averages 1.17 million ppv buys for their past six fights. Not including rios but including alvarez.
As far as the money guaranteed,it's in writing otherwise reporters cannot report it...why? Because the contracts in their final state get filed with the sanctioning body and considering a belt was on the line in this fight even more so.
In terms of numbers, Pacquaio hasn't sold 1 million PPVs since the Margarito fight, which incidentally was the last fight that Arum allowed Pac's PPV numbers to be released.
The guaranteed money is listed in the contracts that the promoter provides to the state athletic commission. The state athletic commission makes the salary figures available to the public/journalists. In foreign countries, the boxing commission is not obligated to release the salaries to the public. The only salary information for the Pacquiao/Rios fight came from Bob Arum, who has history of lying. In Pacquaio's last six fights, the guarantee listed on the contract given to the boxing commission ranged from $5.9 million to $6.5 million.. Arum can throw out any number he wants, but these are the numbers listed on the contracts.Comment
