What is really dumb is when fans are expecting immediate reaction from fighter B when fighter A calls out fighter B. And when fighter A doesn't call out fighter B, he's not interested, or he's afraid... The reverse is also true.

Who the hell knows? This is not WWF. This is boxing. Politics, health, pride, cherrypicking, etc are at play in this sport. You should know this if you've been following the sport.

I liked his interview I was laughing. Like a badass GGG. Wilder calls out opponents after fights. Quillin said names, Broner calls people out, Mundine called out Mayweather and Canelo lmao

Promoters seem to have an increasingly stronger influence on the fighters saying what they are supposed to. Big part of it.

I always figured they were told by their promoters not to, that is why they don't.

Probably because a lot of them have been just been punched for 36 minutes and are knackered so aren't thinking straight.

It's hard to say. It could be for negotiating purposes. I would like to see fighters call people out more. I'm sure we all would. I'm just not sure if it makes a difference in a fight getting made.

Reminds me of Broner calling out everybody, Marquez, Pacquiao, Rios, Guerrero, you name it. Guerrero showed up in his face and Broner ended up saying, "Send the contract over and I'll sign it" Did the fight get made? No. If that was UFC, Dana White would have capitalized on that huge promotional gem. Not in boxing. Cash cows need to be protected, marinated, and all that ****.
