[QUOTE=BUNGALOWS;13990154]Pacquiao gets the cosign from Iron Mike Tyson.

Mayweather gets the cosign from Manny Pacquiao's PROMOTER! LOL

"I say this to you today and I really believe it and its true, that since Ali, there hasn’t been a better fighter, better boxer than Floyd Mayweather. This young man has the teqhnique and the ability which puts him in my book ahead of such greats as Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler and all the other great fighters that I’ve seen in my career. And there is NOBODY that combines all the skills of Floyd mayweather."

That's pretty sad. You lose respect for someone because of their opinion.

Arum also said Pacquiao is better than Ali or something like that.

Mike even made it clear he never said who was better, he was mainly talking about who has looked more "sensational." I love Mike but he's way off here, Pacquiao looked good against a walking punching bag but did he forget to watch him against Mosley, Marquez, and Bradley? He was probably out getting paid a few dollars to attend a MMA event or pimping him image for a cameo in some random movie when those fights took place. The last time that Pacquiao looked "sensational" was against Hatton and Cotto.

              Iron Mike picks Mayweather

              --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
              By Dan Rafael

Former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson, a regular at ringside for major fights, is looking forward -- like most boxing fans -- to the showdown between pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Canelo Alvarez, who will meet to unify junior middleweight titles on Sept. 14 (Showtime PPV) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"I think that's going to be a super fight," Tyson said in an interview with ESPN2's "Friday Night Fights." "It's going to be an interesting fight, because I watch Canelo fight and he's improving with every fight. I'm interested to see how he deals with the complexity of Floyd Mayweather, who's a real strategist and a master fighter."

So who does Tyson, now getting into the promotional business with his Iron Mike Productions, like to win the big fight?

"It's gonna be tough, it's gonna be tough," Tyson said. "I gotta go towards Floyd a little bit. It's gonna be tough, because we don't know because Floyd is older. This guy is gonna hit him, but it's just difficult to bet against Floyd if you're really honest with yourself. It's really difficult to bet against him because he's been so superior over all of the fighters during the duration of his career."

Tyson ranks Mayweather as the best fighter of his era, regardless of what happens on Sept. 14.

"First off, you have to admit that he's the best of his time,"
Tyson said. "The best of his generation. He beat everybody in three, seven divisions, regardless. I'm not familiar with how many, but he's conquered a mountain of divisions. You have to rank him the best fighter of the generation, at least."

In case Iron Mike is reading this, Mayweather has won world titles in five different weight classes, from junior lightweight to junior middleweight.
