Lara is the man @ 154lbs !!! Trout is a decent fighter but he lacks that killers instinct!! I like both fighters style but Lara is my Guy(no hommo) Trout vs Ortiz would be good !!!

Lara's got plenty of heart, he just doesn't have any balls. Too bad Trout doesn't have the kind of power to put those track shoes to work in full force.

lol. Canelo's not half the technical fighter Lara is and that fight was dead even sans the kd. Lara's also not going to try to entertain the crowd and close the show early like Cotto. Good luck Austin.

Landy showed heart versus Williams, too. He fought with a gigantic hematoma on his head and still managed to win the fight, although he was robbed on the cards.

Did he miss the Paul Williams fight where Lara fought with the biggest knot on his head? Did he miss the Molina fight where he fought thru a tooth infection? Did he miss the Vanes fight where he fought with an injured right hand? And lastly, did he miss the Angulo fight?

I've heard and read all kinds of stuff about Lara's ailments before and during fights. If half of them are true, he's one tough son of a bitch.

Lara's two biggest issues are, in my opinion: lack of inside game, and inactivity in the ring. The inactivity could be a style/temperament thing, or it could be a stamina issue. It could simply be that Landy paces himself to conserve energy. I don't see him ever developing an inside game. If he hasn't put one together by now, I don't see him ever achieving one.

I got Lara in this one.To me Trout is overrated,he reaches with his punches negating his height and exposing himself to counter punches. He also doesn't sit down on any of his punches, his two greatest strengths are his lateral movement and work-rate,which mostly consists of a jab and a left to the body neither of which are delivered with much authority behind them.Lara has a ton of heart as shown both the Williams fight,in which he fought his was through a grotesque hematoma and the Angulo fight in which he rallied for the stoppage after suffering two knockdowns.I think Lara holds all of the advantages in this fight,he's more technically sound, faster, and punches harder. He's also able to adjust on the fly better and seems to have the intangibles.
