Cotto is the definition of a prize fighter.

Barely ever complains or talks for that matter, fights anyone without any bs complaints or demands.

Sport would be doing a lot better if we had more fighters act the way cotto did, crazy to think, if you just fight and give the fans a show, you'll make a ton of money and be a favorite for years.

Is it a catchweight? Man it better be. Cotto is a small ass JMW already. IMO cotto should go for the more winnable fight against canelo. The long rest will rejuvenate martinez and he'll be fresh when he enters the ring.

I just can't see cotto competing physically with a full fledged MW like maravilla. He's not faster than martinez, he's not going to be stronger, he's shorter etc, etc. martinez would bust Cotto up.

this fight will happen. cotto is co-promoting a show with top rank next week. he's not leaving them again. march 8 is too soon and cotto prefers to fight in new york. not vegas.

I hope they're not using Sergio for leverage. This is a good fight and good prep for Martinez to help get him ready for Golovkin.

He said he wants canelo after that.... so if he fights his mando (if he keeps his belt) that probably won't be HBO. I think HBO will try to make his last fight against Golovkin

This is a good fight. Its the one that Cotto should take over the Canelo fight and if he wins then he will be the Champ and still make that money with Canelo.
