Comments Thread For: Szpilka To Bryant Jennings: You Afraid of Polish Power?

Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz Wach (27-1, 15 KOs) turned down an offer to fight Bryant Jennings (17-0, 9 KOs) in an HBO televised fight on January 18th, but another Pole - undefeated Artur Szpilka (16-0, 12 KOs), is ready to step in there for the opportunity. Jennings is scheduled to return in the co-feature spot to Lucian Bute vs. Jean Pascal at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Hahaha, fu@k yes make it happen, I am sure HBO would green light it with all of the Eastern Bloc fighters making names for themselves now.

Jennings thinks he is entitled to bigger and better names.

Gary Shaw, Jennings promoter told that he will ask HBO about Szpilka, decision should be made by the 8 of december. Seems legit.

I've seen more of Szpilka on TV than I have of Wach so I wouldn't mind seeing that.

Polish power was afraid of Jennings. Isn't that why Wach ducked him?

this guy must be smokin that ish to say that about jennings. he's one of the most humble, down to earth cats out there. he'd love a shot at a bigger and better name, who wouldnt, but the fact is that he's ready to fight whoever and whenever. hopefully hbo gives the green light for the polish cat cause itll be a good scrap.
