WBA "regular" super bantamweight champion Scott Quigg (27-0-2, 20KOs) hopes to one day battle his domestic rival, Carl Frampton (17-0, 12KOs). The first target on Quigg's list is a showdown with Kiko Martinez, who now holds the IBF's version of the belt and soon defends against Jeffrey Mathebula. Frampton, who holds the EBU title, knocked Martinez out in February of this year.

Based on last few performances I think Frampton wins this.

Anyone have any idea how Quigg and/or Frampton would fare against Leo Santa Cruz?

Frampton vs Quigg should be for Carl's EBU title, which is far more prestigious then Quigg's WBA fraudulent belt!

'Regular' champion - what a load of ****e! Rigondeaux is the WBA World Champion, so unless you can beat him (which you can't) then you're no 'double' world champion.

For real. Quigg didn't even win his title as well

Yes I've given it some thought. Quigg vs Santa Cruz would be a war for as long as it lasted. Quigg does have size, speed and power Leo hasn't seen before. I think it would be a great fight with the winner being the one willing to come through more to win. And I know most would pick Santa Cruz if it came down to that but I wouldn't write off Quigg so easy.

Frampton I think schools both on the way to knocking them out. Frampton's the real deal. Frampton vs Rigondeaux is the superfight of the lower weights IMO.

Rigondeaux and Santa Cruz are the class of the 122 pound division. That's why neither Quigg nor Frampton are calling them out.
