wtf, why? Why should we limit things to those guys?
If you have a spectacular KO, you deserve recognition

It's not going to be Stevenson Dawson. That was an upset but Dawson was able to get up and the ref waved off the fight. He was still somewhat lucid That was a TKO.

I have a few candidates. When I think of knockout, I don't think TKO when the ref waves off the fight or something. I think legitimately knocked out.

            My candidates:

Curtis Stevens nearly decapitating Saul Roman.
            Kovalev blasting Sillakh
            GGG destroying Ishida.
            Fortuna blasting Zamudio

These 4 were just devastating. I guarantee one these 4 will win knockout of the year by the end of the year.

lol umm because Knocking out a bum isn't very much an accomplishment to koing a Champ.

What would be more impressive, GGG KO'ing Ishida or Stevensen KO'ing Dawson? One actually means something.

Another mention for KO of the year is Gonzalez KO'ing Mares in one

Yea but he didn't knock him out... Dawson got back up to his feet, beat the count and the ref waved it off. That was a TKO...

Good call on the Gonzalez Marez fight though, Mares got absolutely ****ed up.

Then Wilder would win it...that being said it goes to top fights imo. Put any good fighter in with someone not even in the top 20 and they'll have a KO of the year highlight reel...
