For the Record in his day Spadafora was a damn good fighter, damn good. when he spared Floyd, Spadafora was just finishing his 6 to 8 week training and had a fighter later that week, and a rare occurrence Floyd had not been in the gym for months and over weight and out of shape.
The two starting sparring and floyd got the better of the first 3 rounds but after 4 he tried to pull out of the sparring match. Thats when Jesse Reed stepped in and said hell no!! "When you spar with my fighter its for 6 rounds" this when thing got interesting because floyd didn't have the conditioning to go 6 round and Jesse knew this but he says he did it to teach floyd a lesson for talking **** and being out of shape, which he did because Floyd has never let himself get out of shape again after taking a trashing the second half of the sparring match.

ortiz and guerrero? they are both right hand dominant. they aren't like pac or stevenson who are left hand dominant or even a guy like judah who was hitting floyd at will. hitting him so badly in fact that he had to change his entire defense from shoulder roll to high guard. imagine if he went to the high guard against pac? he would be just another punch bag like rios. floyd's a great fighter against orthodox fighters just not southpaws. aka he's not a great fighter if he can only fight effectively against half the people in the world.

Yah he was a good fighter! Had a dangerously padded record though. Im so glad he finally lost. he doesn't deserve to hold that sort of record. Marciano beat some big names to set that record, even though the biggest names were all sorely past prime. At least he has the names on his record though. Spaddy has Israel Cardona, Billy Irwin and Angel Manfredy to boast about.
