After Jorge Paez Jr. stopped Ivan Hernandez in Mexicali, former four division world champion Erik Morales entered the ring and called for a fight with the winner. Paez (37-4-1, 22KO) had no problem with accepting the challenge. Morales (52-9, 36KO), inactive since October 2012, looked massive and nowhere near the junior welterweight or welterweight limit. The two fighters are possibly going to settle things in the ring on a date in March, when Morales plans to say goodbye with a farewell fight.
