Kovalev is a more complete fighter. He's much more active, cut's the ring off better and he doesn't just follow his opponent around and throw jab-jab left hand, which is really all Stevenson has in his arsenal. Kovalev is much better on the inside. That's the problem with these fighters that Stevenson is fighting, they fight him at a distance and allow him to spring inside and land his punch. I guarantee Kovalev will not be on his back foot.

I think Hopkins and Ward also beat Stevenson soundly. They can close the distance.

50/50 fight. I don't get how anyone can pick the other so convenietly when they both have KO power and skills. One of the hardest fight to predict ever.

Stevenson does well going forward. Kovalev will force him to go backwards. Kovalev will eat him alive.

Actually he does better going back and countering.

And Kovalev has good timing with his right. I can see him timing Stevenson and throwing his right hand inside Stevenson's left, and that's all she wrote.

I do think Kovalev has more tools in his tool box. Stevenson sometimes looks for that perfect left hand a little too much while kovalev just let his combinations flow.

But then again when they are both in the ring all that **** goes out the window and it's who ever lands that crushing shot that wins.
