Adonis caught a lot of it on his shoulder and his gloves. Bellew did land some shots, but nothing that hurt Adonis. He did his best work when he just came straight at Stevenson.

RJJ said in the fight when Bellew made Stevenson's nose bleed that he just pissed Stevenson off. That's how it appeared for the rest of the fight. Stevenson dominated and landed his straight left upstairs and downstairs, making Bellew switch where he was defending. It's how he caught him and finished him.

Impressed me by how he got an opponent that didn't want to engage to open up and stop him by the 6th.

I am curious what does a guy need to do to be kind of good. I can understand not being in love with Stevenson and it is not like he is a smooth flawless fighter but he is very good at what he does which makes him a quality fighter.

If you think Kovalev will beat him fair enough but it is not like Kovalev is just anybody.

the only thing he has going for him is his punching power and the punch he has which is good is his straight left. if he learns how to follow up his left and some defence then he could be good.

He now beat Dawson, Cloud, and Bellew in one year. He may suck, but he's getting the wins over top 10 ranked guys and by TKO. That's all that matters.

Still not a fan because of his past, but I can't criticize his resume. Sure Dawson just came off a loss, Cloud just came off a loss, and Bellew has been down by a guy who was 3-22 and two other journeymen. But all three fighters were ranked in the top 10 and he disposed of them like he was supposed to if he wanted to show they are below him.
